A mix-up with decaffeinated cappuccino demanded a second visit in the hope of something a tad more muscular. This popular venue has a full menu and attentive staff. Delicacies stand out invitingly in glass bell domes, the decor is bright and thoughtful, the striking art on the walls – and its price tags – are natural conversation points.
There is a nice buzz about Toast in the south-west corner of the centre with shoppers taking a breather and sustenance. As we tasted, three Border Collies on leashes lay at an outside sidewalk table as their owner relaxed with friends – it’s that kind of place.
While the espresso made the grade, the double decaffeinated cappuccino lagged, as did the single cappuccino days later. Presentation was spot-on, however, with welcome biscotti on the saucer. Wi-Fi is available.
