Tucked away in a walled garden next to Funnel Cars is a tiny coffee shop/cum florist. You really have to look carefully for it, as it is not well advertised.
There is limited seating inside and outside, with free Wi-Fi.
Inside, it is quaint and pretty with lots of lovely buckets of fresh flowers adding colour.
On offer, foodwise, there are all-day breakfasts and light lunches, including burgers, curry, chicken strips, toasted sandwiches, wraps and a few sweet treats. There is also a kiddie’s menu.
Staffers were friendly and it was nice to chat with the barista but, disappointingly, she did not know what coffee beans she was using as the bag was unbranded.
The espresso and cappuccino were both well presented with good crema and flavour and served in the correct sized cup.
It is well worth a visit but, beware, the coffee shop is closed on some Saturdays for private functions so be sure to phone before visiting.
