Millflour Café is set on Fig Tree Farm where there is ample safe parking.

The day I visited it was a perfect Durban winter’s day…. sunny and pleasant. The outdoor seating allowed families to sit and relax and watch their children playing on the lawn and climbing equipment.

The menu is extensive and includes breakfasts, light lunches and main meals including pizza, pasta, chicken, and salads… and lots of delicious looking cakes. This is also a bakery. They also cater for vegans and have a special menu for kids.

The espresso was served in the correct sized cup but was thin and under extracted with no crema on top. The cappuccino comes only as a double shot in a VERY large cup (which some people will love!) The milk was fairly well stretched with average latte art, but it lacked a bit of flavour and was a tad too hot. They use Sprada beans

The service was friendly and efficient

Good for a great family outing in a relaxed atmosphere, though.
