The Cure House is basically a butchery that sells meat – obviously – plus home- cured biltong and the likes. It is set in farm-like surrounds with views of the proverbial hills and herds of munching cows. All is very peaceful as long as you don’t dwell on the fate of the cows.
Baristas take orders and serve the coffees. They even provide sparkling water on the side to open up taste buds and enhance the flavour of the coffee. The coffee itself was very decent, although lacking slightly in aromatics and a little more bitter than desirable.
There is plenty of parking and enough seating. There’s even a fireplace for cold, wintery days. So all is very cosy. The look is rustic with face brick walls.
Food consists of a small selection of breakfast and meals like burgers. Very tasty and well-priced. Definitely worth a visit.
Wi-Fi is available.
