Owner Maria Binikos has completely revamped the cafe which now boasts a modern new look but still offers old-fashioned service and fabulous fresh food catering predominately for the breakfast and brunch brigade.
I could not resist having a decadent butter-dripping croissant, while the baguettes too were calling – loudly.
The Coffee Shop is home to decent cappuccinos and espressos. Both offered a full-bodied taste with the crema having good shine with the perfect froth – and the latte art was impressive.
Who would have thought a hospital tea room could be a coffee hotspot? This one is.
