A stunningly positioned venue – in a tent of sorts so not total protection from the elements – with panoramic views over Greyville Racecourse, the city area and beachfront. Pleasant garden furniture added to the outdoor feel – although the tables could have been better arranged to ensure all customers had access to the views.

Hush offers a tranquil setting, good coffee and friendly service. The ideal location for a sunrise coffee. I did visit this venue twice and noted there was a slight lack of consistency in standard. But there is the view!

Hush was created to counter the urban decay at a park which was apparently a regular venue for less salubrious activities – not so anymore thanks to its enthusiastic owner managers who are keen to get their coffee just right. A space well worth watching and visiting.

There is street parking with a guard. No Wi-Fi.
