Heidi’s is situated inside/beside Anstey’s Backpackers. They share a courtyard and that, in my view, massively improves the experience.

The little coffee shop was the BEST stop of my beat. They also have staffers who are very friendly and nothing is ever too much to ask.

The eclectic venue has mismatched crockery and cutlery that makes you feel that your experience is unique (and in that case it is, I guess).
Heidi’s provides an awesome ambience where you feel you are almost, but not quite, on the beach. They serve an impressive Coffee Merchant cappuccino and l got the best latte art of my judging experience. I guess the whole thing is made better by the way they all make it seem so effortless.

At R27 per cup it is also GREAT value for money. The only fly in the ointment were the monkeys who also felt entitled to the Heidi’s experience, just on a higher level .
