The Yard Cafe, hidden off the main road, is a lovely find. Not only does it serve delicious coffee, but also tasty breakfasts,  lunches, snacks, cakes and more!

This lovely little cafe has a surprise inside….a stunning boutique, specialising in home decor, ladies clothing, jewellery and a variety of beautiful locally made items. It’s ALSO a popular choice for birthday parties and larger gatherings, with a beautiful welcoming ambience and vintage inspired decor.

It is always a plus if you can interact with the barista but in this case, the barista was located at the back of the restaurant so not accessible.  However, the servers were very helpful and always friendly.

Wi-Fi is not always available due to spotty service but you can sit and work on your laptop in peace when it is.  The Yard Cafe is not pet friendly but is accessible by wheelchairs. Parking is convenient. There is both indoor and outdoor seating and space for smokers to puff away.

The food is of good quality and reasonably priced.  There are also cakes, cupcakes and muffins available for takeaway or to sit down. Food is made fresh and promptly. One can also book tables for bigger parties, birthdays etc.
