Once again, the barista seems to be a member of the serving staff – so, no dedicated person. I think their coffee reflects this, being nothing to write home about. The texture of the coffee was a little watery and although they got the temperature right, the flavour lacked fullness.
But there are plenty of plusses here – loads of parking and free Wi-Fi, a nice nook setup for laptop use (so a good place to work), a very pleasant looking venue with a country air feel, and face brick walls offering a rustic, organic feel.
This place also has a really good vibe, with appropriate music. The service was decent and friendly. Essentially this is a coffee shop and bakery offering breakfast, brunch and lunch options plus a range of delicious, freshly made cakes and other baked goods. Not the cheapest, pricewise, but not over the top either. Sadly the only thing that let them down was the quality of their coffee.
