Sprigs is a popular coffee shop, deli and bakery in the Fields Shopping Centre which boasts decades in the hospitality business and a loyal clientele. It offers many disparate and interesting confectioneries and preserves. It succeeds in drawing its customers through a variety of unique ways and providing decent meals, bakery and dessert items.

Their coffee, however, requires more attention.

The barista was pleasant and presentable, but her coffee is not always consistent. The coffee she produced for me had too many sour tones for my taste. Others may think differently, though.

The cafe itself offers an assortment of all-day breakfasts plus light cafe-style lunches, all of good quality. The bakery offers a delicious selection of after-meal sweet treats to accompany your coffee.

Overall it is a decent breakfast and lunch destination. Take home some of their kimchi and preserves – you will not be disappointed.
