As the name suggests, Daily Dose is the kind of coffee shop — actually a trailer — you’ll want to visit daily. Perfectly situated by the beach at the Umhlanga Flea Market, this little gem offers breathtaking views and an unbeatable ambiance. It’s an ideal hangout for creatives, with a laid-back, inspiring vibe that invites you to slow down and savour the moment. I must admit, though, I totally pre-judged this trailer before ordering the coffee — but the moment I took a sip of that cappuccino, I regretted my judgement and was so glad I gave this place a try.

The cappuccino had everything I expected and more: perfect latte art, the ideal temperature, and smooth to the last drop. I was so in love with the coffee that I came back the very next day for another.

The barista here is not only one of the best in town but also the friendliest, crafting coffee that truly leaves an impression. And when you visit, don’t forget to try their delicious, crunchy treat — it’s the perfect companion to your drink. While food options are limited at the trailer, you’ll find a more extensive offering at their full café nearby.
