In the centre of Southbroom, residing in the heart of the community, is Coffee on the Square, a shop that takes the word community to a whole new level. Describing itself as a “very unique coffee shop” it is also known for its exceptional carrot cake.
Coffee on the Square has a friendly atmosphere and is active in the upliftment of the community. One fundraising project involved chairs being individually painted by various community members and then auctioned off to raise funds to help improve the town with a focus on keeping it clean.
Their menu has a large variety of dishes to please all their patron’s palates, which include good breakfast options, open sandwiches, light meals and salads.
My cappuccino was delicious and my foam lasted to my last sip. The espresso left me wanting more. Personally, this coffee shop is what every town needs and should have.
Wi-Fi is available.
